Tucked in the south-western corner of the apartment, the bedroom is extremely private, airy,

large (11x19), and sun-drenched; being on 6th floor, two exposures, and no building in front

certainly help! Through the west-ward window, you can enjoy the skyline view of Chrysler, UN, 

Citicorp buildings and upward, glorious sunrise in the morning and sunset at dusk.

      6층 아파트의 서남쪽 코너에 자리한 이 독방침실은 아주 private하고 조용하며 서남향

      양면으로 난 창문 덕분에 채광이 좋고 시원스럽게 넓은 (11x19) 방입니다. 서쪽으로 난

      창문을 '통해 Chrysler, Citi-corp, UN 빌딩들, uptown쪽으로 쭉 이어지는 맨하탄 스카이

      라인의 전경과 아침에 눈을 뜨면 해오름,  해질녘 붉게 타오르는 sunset의 전경을 즐길 수

      있습니다.

The room comes with a queen-size bed in a wooden frame and Dixie foam mattress

known for good back support, an Ikea sofa-bed; a comforter, two sets of towel and 100%

cotton linens (per person) are provided, so are hair dryer, iron, and iron board. Equipped with

A/C and hard oak wood floor, there are two small desks/chairs for study and make-up, antique

armchair, hope chest, hard oak wood floor, good-sized closet with abundant hangers, and

four lamps to create an ambience. (원목받침대, Dixie foam mattress를 사용하여 최대한의

편함을 배려한 퀸 사이즈 침대와 Ikea 소파베드가 있으며, 계절용 이불과 침대시트/타월 각자

2벌씩, 헤어드라이어, 다리미가 제공됩니다. hard oak wood floor와 중앙난방 (전기히터 사용

불가)과 개별냉방 에어컨이 있으며, 화장대, 컴퓨터용의 secretary desk, 앤틱 안락의자,

hope chest, 2인이 쓰기에 충분한 옷걸이가 가득한 closet, 분위기를 낼 수있는 램프 4개가

있습니다.)

The room is accessible to password protected Wi-Fi internet (you must bring your own laptop),

17" cable TV (32" cable TV in the livingroom), and CD/DVD player. (암호화된

초고속 무선인터넷이 가능하고 -- 랩탑은 게스트 지참 -- DVD 용의 flat screen 17" 케이블 TV

가  있습니다.) (32" cable TV는 거실에서 시청 가능)

 된 퀸 사이즈 베드. 용수철이 아닌 Dixie foam 메트레여서 더욱 편한 베드.

   낮으론 소파, 밤으론 침대가 되는 sofa bed. 혹시 침대가 두개 필요하시나요?

 secretary desk와 케이블 TV 청취 가능한 17" TV (32" TV는 거실에서 볼 수 있음).

A four-leafed clover is a symbol of good luck. 침실의 one corner에 행운의 표시 네잎 클로바가

걸려있습니다. 이방에 머무시는 분에겐 행운이 열리시길! (세잎짜리가 더 선명하게 나왔지만

자세히 보시면 아래쪽으로 네잎이 보이죠.)

Eileen, my 10-year-old Irish neighbor, gave me this armchair and I re-upholsterd it.

10년간 이웃으로 지내던 아일런드계 미국여성 Eileen이 이사를 가며 주고 간 안락의자를

reupholstery를 한 것.

You can view Manhattan skyline through these windows; but below, a PS schoolground.

이 창문을 통하여 맨하탄의 스카이라인을 볼 수 있는데 아래로는 초등학교 운동장이 보입니다.

Georgia O'keeffe's "Barn." In the bedroom are also Monet's "Le Repos sous Les Lilas,"

Matisse's "The Heart," Milton Avery's and "I Imagine" in memory of John Lennon. Works of

some prominent Korean artists -- Chun Kyung-ja, Kim Jum-sun -- are also in display
